In January 2010 we became member of
the PFÄLZER BARRIQUE-FORUM e.V.
50 wine growing estates of the whole Pfalz
wine growing area are members of the PFÄLZER BARRIQUE-FORUM e. V., their aim
is to produce also outstanding qualities out of the barrique.
Every year very excellent wines matching the determined Kriteria
of vinification, fermentation and storage are
affiliated in the collection of the great wines of the Pfälzer
Barrique-Forums. Examination and awarding are under the control of the
Chamber of Agriculture.
The estates derive from the whole Pfalz
between Kirchheim in the north and Landau in the
south. They ferment their top-wines in Barrique-barrels and show, what kind
of excellent wines can be produced in this region of outstanding natuaral beauty favoured by the climate.
